This is an extremely rare, uncirculated sterling silver round set issued by The Franklin Mint. The set was produced in 1971 in very limited quantities recognizing prestigious companies, organizations and leaders who achieved significant milestones. Only 36 sterling silver rounds per year were selected for this recognition. Edition proof sets were only produced from 1970 to 1976. Each of the highly collectible 36 rounds is composed of sterling silver (92.5% pure silver) with each sterling silver proof weighing.
By my calculations, that equates to total of 28.38 troy ounces of pure silver in the set. It is rare to find this complete collection with a near perfect leatherette binder. I know, because I have tried to find it online, and it is simply no where to be found. This item is in the category "Coins & Paper Money\Exonumia\Medals".
