Franklin Mint East African Wild Life Society Sterling Silver Collection 40 oz. The Franklin Mint presents the East African Wild Life Society Big Game Animals sterling silver medal collection. Designs by artist Anthony Jones, who personally trekked through Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda to accurately portray the wildlife up close. This set features 20 animals.
Each medal weighs about 2 ounces and is about 51mm wide in diameter. Total sterling silver weight is about 40 ounces, a little over 1,100 grams. All medals are sealed in clear plastic shell cases.
Some of the cases are cracked, but do not reflect the actual condition of the medals themselves. Some of the medals exhibit mild patina around the edges. Please see photos for details. Jewelry Mart has been in business for over 20 years.
