Franklin Mint, 50 medal set, American Revolution causes, 1970 issue

  

A truly wonderful set that has aged in storage. Some of medals are brilliant, some have edge toning, and some have aged gray with brilliance under the toning. These medals appear to be in capsules, but they have allowed some air inside. These medals list several events each year leading up to and conclude with end of war. A gem of the history behind and during the war.

Great artistic design, heavy on details. Reverse of medals give brief message about obverse. Album is in reasonable shape, no major damage but 50 years old. I believe each medal is about half an ounce, giving about 25 ounces of sterling for the set. Thanks for your interest, OLD Man Fred.
