Ford 1913 Model T Pewter assembly line display withglass cover # 257 out of 2500
This is a Limited 100th anniversary edition Ford Model T Pewter Assembly Line Display piece. It's Limited Edition # is 257 out of 2500. This has never been displayed, only taken out of its original packaging to photograph.
The glass cover however hasn't been taken out if it's original packaging (as seen on photos) The foam inserts are still with the 2 separate pieces, but the box ended up being accidentally used by a family member. It also came with limited edition and certificate paperwork (as seen in pics) - that will of course come included. It's made of Pewter and is very finely detailed. Would look so amazing displayed. Especially for the Ford Model T collector/ enthusiast.
It's attached to the wood base and has a glass cover w/ a thin metal trim. Well with the exception that we took the bottom pewter portion out to view and photograph. Its 2 feet long and 5 inches wide. My mother bought it in thoughts of her dad & grandfather. My great grandfather worked the Ford assembly line way back in the day in Michigan.
My grandfather was close to his father, and so my grandfather collected model t stuff, among more throughout the years he was alive. My mother and grandfather have both since sadly passed. So us kids/grandkids have been left w/ the task to keep whatever we want and sell the rest.
As we saw by receipt. NOTE: Do know the glass Display lid has a thin metal trim going around it - unfortunately for whatever reason the trim I see has some light metal erosion in a few small areas.
