This is a mint condition, opened for pictures Franklin Mint Sword of Excalibur. These are incredible in person and rarely pop up for sale. It's a true sword, in size, weight and visually.

The sword of the legendary King Arthur. Handmade in 1988 by Franklin Mint. The sword was introduced by The International Arthurian Society and was available exclusively from Franklin Mint. The handle is entirely 24K gold plated and silver plated and is hand-decorated with crystal cabochons.

The blade is made of very durable sword steel and then treated with a protective finish so that fingerprints and smudges do not cause permanent damage, but can simply be wiped away with a dry cloth. This sword is a must in any exclusive sword collection.

The length of the sword is around 109 cm (43 inches). Weight of the sword is some 2.4 kg.
