East African Wild Life Society Franklin Mint Sterling Silver 1971-1972 Set 40+OZ
This is an amazing set minted over 50 years ago. The East African Wildlife Society commissioned this series of 20 Silver medals that portray African big game animals in danger of extinction.
Sculptor Anthony Jones made a 1,600 mile trek through Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda so that he might study and accurately sketch the animals first hand in their natural habitat.
