Please have a look at this grouping of three Sterling Silver Medals by the Franklin Mint. Two are uncirculated Proof pieces which are plated in high purity yellow gold. One medal is a thick silver ingot.
Medals sport attractive designs and superb color. Two of the pieces are housed in their original capsules.
The total combined metal weight of this lot is 147.7 grams or 4.76 Troy ounces. What an impressive collection this set is! The two 40mm round medals are made of. The John Adams piece weighs 41.2 grams or 1.33 Troy ounces. Hayes medal weighs 40.67 grams or 1.31 Troy ounces. Both were struck by The Franklin Mint for the Whitehouse Historical Association. Both feature thick lettered edges which are inscribed OFFICIAL WHITEHOUSE HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION 24 KT. GOLD ELECTROPLATE ON STERLING and which also feature hallmarks.These medals are in lovely uncirculated Gem Cameo Proof condition. The removable acrylic capsules look great. The Hayes capsule has a very minor flaw.
Please view picture number six. Both medals are very attractive with excellent detail, color and heft. The silver bar weighs 65.84 grams or 2.12 Troy ounces. It features a thick numbered edge.
This ingot is in lovely About Uncirculated condition and shows only slight evidence of minor cabinet wear. Please view pictures to determine grade and attribution for yourself.
