This is a 1969-70 Issued Franklin Mint Sterling Silver States of the Union Medals (30 of 50) Set. There are thirty of these medals in this set/lot and there is no display case or COA with them as they did not come to us with them. These are all about the size of a half dollar - 32 mm. 460 Troy each for an overall 13.8 Troy weight, or 12.76 Troy after adjusting for Sterling vs. These are pleasant Proof medals, some are milky or discolored.

A nice group of medals for someone looking to work on this set. Each medal the state name, date of admission into the Union, State Flower, and which number of state they came in as on them surrounded by Wheat Sheaves. The other side has a map of the way te state looks, as well as the name of the state and a significant image showcasing some well known aspect of that state, the state motto, as well as the Capitol. The edge states they are sterling and has three makers marks. We will do the same for you.
