LARGE Silver 925 Turquoise FRANKLIN MINT Native American Eagle Ring Z Z1/2 12½

  

This is for a superb vintage, large sterling silver, 925 and turquoise Franklin Mint USA eagle ring. The ring is very Native American is style.

It features a spread eagle to the face of the ring, with a turquoise triangle to the center of the eagle and turquoise panels to the sides of the ring face. Made in the USA by the Franklin Mint. This certainly is a real statement ring, it is solid, chunky and weighty, weighing in at a substantial 14.72 grams. The ring is predominantly made of polished silver, with oxidised silver to the inside of the ring face, which gives the blackened appearance. The ring is hallmarked inside, marked to the oxidised silver with original USA Franklin Mint hallmarks.

"925" for sterling Silver and "USA" for country of origin. At some point the ring was bought to the UK and was assayed with UK hallmarks.

Marked "FM" for Franklin Mint. Marked "925" between scales (Common control mark) and "925" for sterling silver. Assayed with leopard's head for London.

Length 22.83 (measured to edge of turquoise on shoulders) or 19.34 excluding turquoise on shoulders x Width / height of ring face 16.15mm. Due to the width of band would fit UK ring size (Z to Z1/2) - US ring size 12 1/2 to 12 3/4.

Presented in excellent preowned vintage condition. Supplied in a brand new complimentary black leatherette ring box. Would make a great gift.
