Franklin Mint Great American Landmarks Sterling. In 1971 the Franklin Mint issued a set of 20 medals to commemorate America's great landmarks. This Proof edition was available exclusively to Collector Society Members. Each medal is made of Sterling Silver, 39mm in diameter, struck in a Proof finish and contains 500 grains of Sterling Silver.

Total metal weight of the set is 20.83 Troy Ounces. The condition of each medal is like new with bright mirror-like fields and no toning. Only 1,337 of these sets were minted with much fewer remaining today.

It is considered rare by knowledgeable collectors. The collection comes in a 17" L x 8" W solid oak display case with a dark red velvet lined display tray. A nice addition to any collection.
