Franklin Mint Scale Model Apollo 11 Lunar Module Moon Landing Base Silver Coin

  
I know very little about models, especially one so complicated as this, so please ask questions. This model is in quite good condition, though I believe there are a few small pieces missing around the top (examine photos). The module sits on its landing base which is separate from the module. In it is embedded a sterling coin commemorating the 25 yr anniversary of the historic lunar landing. The module itself heavy and beautifully made with great detail.

The legs articulate, and I believe the top half is meant to release from the bottom half (I have not tried this and will leave that to someone who knows for sure). The module is marked with "The Franklin Mint" deep inside the black cup de-thruster? It measures approximatelY 9.50" in diameter x 7.25" tall when sitting on the landing base.
