1921 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Tourer with Copper Body. One of the most interesting cars of the century was this old Rolls-Royce, which features a copper body. This rare car was actually conceived in the 1960s, and was created to be a show car. It won the Best in Class honors in Pebble Beach (1991).

This unique Rolls-Royce contains more copper and brass than any other car and was assembled using full sheets of solid copper in order to avoid welded seams and rivets. Accessories were made of nickle and German silver. The wood trim was made from a rare species of ebony. Franklin Mint's version is done in copper clad metal and features some of the best wire wheels done at this time as well as 3-D gauges. It has been displayed occasionally in a dust-free cabinet in a controlled environment and out of direct sunlight. It is now dust-free and still in mint condition.
