CANADA 1988 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES 10 SILVER COIN SET WITH GREEN CASE. 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics Silver Coin Set - 20 Dollar Silver Coins (CANADA).

Coin Weight: 34.107 each coin contains 1 troy ounce of pure silver. Composition: Silver coins: 92.5% silver, 7.5% copper. Issued from Start of Olympic coin program in 1985 to series completion in 1987.

This set of 10 coins comes in a beautiful green velvet presentation case with COA (see photos). The Royal Canadian Mint issued a ten coin set to help finance and commemorate the Olympic games. This was the first time that any silver coin had edge lettering on it. XV OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES - JEUX D'OLYMPIQUES D'HIVER.

The numbered and signed Certificate of Authenticity was included in the cases internal cover recess. The coins were issued in 5 series of two coins each and dated from 1985 thru 1987. The case is in good condition. The box is in fair condition and the coins are in excellent condition.
