This is a lot of 14 vintage Franklin Mint Sterling Silver bars/ingots from 1973 and 1974, depicting antique cars from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Each back tells about the car depicted on the front. These bars have a fineness of 0.925 and contain 1000 grains of pure silver per unit. This was part of a collection of art bars made by the Franklin Mint in the 1970s. The other side is marked "The Franklin Mint".
The 1000 grains each equates to 64.799 grams each, but my scale is weighing these bars at least 66 grams or more (one is 66.0, three are 66.2g, three are 66.3g, one is 66.4g, one is 66.5g, three are 66.7g, and two are 67.1g) so each is well over 2 ounces of 92.5% silver. The bars measures 2 7/16" x 1 1/4". This is 2 pounds of sterling silver (or 918 grams total).
